J6 Camera System

The J6 is designed under the Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) concept, which allows for multiple camera, sensor/lens combinations on a common pan and tilt platform. This “plug and play” capability allows the operator to have multiple camera/sensor heads available to him to re-configure the pan and tilt in place to meet changing operational conditions or upgrade the system as technology improves. This can be done in 15 minutes or less with standard tools. Figures 1 and 2 show two variants of the J6 system.
