Constant Focus Lens

Specific day camera systems developed by Vision Technologies for military applications evolved from an adaptation of our patented Constant Focus Lens™ optical technology. The heart of this technology is the ability to provide simultaneous focus from 1/4" to infinity (provides constant depth of field) with 0.005% to 2.0% edge distortion (dependant on lens type and Field of View (FOV)). The lack of edge distortion provided by the Constant Focus Lens™ gives a more accurate representation of target size and dimension, significantly enhancing the optical clarity of any day camera used in combination with this lens. This is invaluable in enabling an operator to acquire a clear, in focus image upon target detection.
