About Vision Technologies

Located in Bentonville, AR, Vision Technologies, Inc. (VTI),  a registered small business who's founder and CEO is a disabled veteran, has developed a product line of Electro Optic (EO) and Forward Looking Infra Red (IR) fixed and pan and tilt sensor systems designed to operate and survive in extreme environmental and operational conditions found in military combat and heavy industrial applications. From lessons learned during the War on Terror, Vision Technologies designed EO/IR systems that would survive and continue to operate after a devastating attack or catastrophic event. Our systems are designed and built around five very familiar concepts:

  • Survivability
  • Reliability
  • Maintainability
  • Adaptability
  • Affordability

From these five concepts, Vision Technologies has defined Mission Specific Imaging, developing 3 primary payload configured pan and tilt systems designed to accept a wide variety of sensor and camera packages, configured as Line Replaceable Units (LRU’s) (excluding J2 series) to meet the customers exact imaging requirement. The payload rated pan and tilt systems can accommodate up to four individual sensors, providing an expanded range of capabilities on a single system. Vision Technologies uses proprietary engineering methods to adapt many Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) components to meet MIL-STD’s for use in our systems. In addition to significantly reducing cost to manufacture, this has the added advantage of multiple supply resources for each component in the system, allowing Vision Technologies to react quickly to changing customer requirements, increased demand or loss of a vendor supplier resource.

Vision Technologies specializes in:

  • Manufacturing electro optic and infrared imaging systems designed to meet the customers exact requirement for real world combat/maritime and heavy industrial operations.
  • Rapid prototype design and manufacturing of electro optic and thermal imaging systems
  • Meeting or exceeding the most demanding Military and Industrial Standards
  • Converting Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) components to meet military and industry specific requirements and standards
  • Utilizing COTS products to significantly reduce costs and improve component availability
  • Rugged, Reliable, Cost Effective, Maintenance Free Imaging Systems

Vision Technologies has the engineering and industry expertise to cost effectively meet your imaging needs for any military or industrial application.

MIL-STD Testing

All Vision Technologies systems are designed to meet the MIL-STD’s listed herein. Again, we are the only known manufacturer in the United States whose sensor systems have successfully passed MIL-STD-901D Grade “A” shock. Our systems have proven their ability to handle the devastating effects of over 400g’s of acceleration shock during testing, continuing to fully operate without so much as a  momentary loss of power, video, or pan and tilt functionality.
